Here at Foothills we have an expectation that every person serves somewhere.
We want every person to serve the Lord enthusiastically. Serving should be a joyous experience not
drudgery – duty – or for some spiritual obligation, we are trying to fulfill.
Every follower of Jesus has a contribution to make to God’s Kingdom agenda for planet earth.
We want to unleash people to discover this at Foothills.  

Backpack Buddies program serves to help alleviate some of the burden families face in feeding their children. Foothills Community Church, with the help of community members and other area businesses, collects non-perishable food so we can provide children with a supply of food and snack items to take home each weekend. In 2020, we provided food to over 300 students in eight schools in the greater Molalla area. Contact the Resource Center at rc@foothillsonline.com for more information.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery (CR) is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power into our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery. We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another.

The facilities and maintenance team is made up of people who love to help behind the scenes and who enjoy taking care of the church.

Foothills Kids serves our nursery and preschool age children and ensures our kids are safe during Sunday services.  We love volunteers who have a heart for little ones and their parents.

Foothills Student Ministry (FSM) is a great place to come and discover what a relationship with God is all about.  It is a great place for middle school, high school, and young adults to meet new friends or connect with old ones and have a great time.

We are “Following Jesus fully, transforming the city completely” – in Guatemala. The mission God has called us to in Guatemala is exactly the same as it is in Molalla. The only difference is the location, and the opportunities given us for transformation.

The purpose of the Holiday Blessing Boxes Ministry is to provide Christmas Dinner and gifts for those in need, and now to also provide a stocking for Molalla Meals on Wheels recipients. Blessing Boxes/bags impact our community by meeting a need during a stressful time. A blessing box/bags can bring hope, relief, encouragement and a show of unconditional love and that people care about them.  This is a seasonal program, active from early November through the week before Christmas. The Hospitality Team is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for fellowship, whether over a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning or for family and friends to gather after a memorial service at the church.

Host ministry strives to reach unchurched people with every interaction at our church. We do everything we can to welcome outsiders and to make them feel like family from the very first visit.  We also actively seek ways to connect people with others in the church or with our programs and ministries – whatever is best for each person, right where they are in life.

Joyful Noise exists to lead children to love God through music, to teach them to experience the presence and power of Jesus, and to empower them for a lifetime of service.  We learn to worship as well as practice songs for performances. Our kids learn from each other through our Youth Leadership program and Buddy program.  

The Kids Church team is committed to helping children Kindergarten to 3rd grade discover what it means to have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire to partner with parents to help raise the next generation of believers to love the Lord with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their strength.  

The Living Room (LR) at Foothills is designed to build relationships. While we serve a delicious cup of coffee, what will take place in this space, is far more transformational! The Living Room ministry desires to connect people, face to face. We are missional minded and will always follow the mission of Foothills Community Church. The LR strives to transform and reach the lives of our community, to build relationship, one cup of coffee at a time. 

The Molalla Adult Community Center served over 1,700 seniors in the center (pre-COVID) as well as the 100 seniors who depend on the weekly Meals on Wheels program.  It is Foothills’ desire to help facilitate these services and activities to the seniors of the Molalla area.

Foothills Community Church hosts several funerals and memorials throughout the year and our volunteers are key to being good hosts for families experiencing a difficult time.  

We are a group of people who feel a strong calling to pray for others, our pastors, our church, and our community.  

The Resource Center offers compassionate care to our communities by providing food to the undernourished. 

Tender Loving Care (TLC) meal ministry is designed to aid Foothills families that are experiencing times of illness or surgery by providing a scheduled evening meal service. Many hands make light work.

The Foothills worship team focuses on leading Foothills to experience the presence and power of Jesus in our corporate gatherings.
