Our Story

How it all started...

Pastor Dale Satrum started Foothills Community Church in March 1998  at Molalla Elementary School with approximately 30 people. Since that time, God has been doing amazing things.
  • We moved out of the overcrowded school gymnasium to a former “Sentry Market” grocery store in order to accommodate more people and ministries.
  • After six years, we outgrew the space and expanded once again.
  • In 2009-2010 we purchased the former “Greenhouse Cafe” building on Main Street.  After renovating the space, staff offices moved into the new building, which freed up space in the existing building for more classrooms and common use areas.
  • In 2016 we purchased our entire building which allowed us to remodel the old True Value space into 14,000 square feet of children and student ministry space.
  • In 2017 God paved the way for us to launch a second campus in Beavercreek.  This campus is primarily used for special events and ministries.
  • We have grown to multiple services.
  • We have added more ministries and we have expanded to more opportunities to serve the community.

The Lord has us on an incredible journey!

We believe that we are a church of destiny; that God is the One who set us on this incredible journey to fulfill His purpose of making a difference in our community.  At Foothills, we don’t believe in “playing church”, we believe in “being the church”.
We would love to have you come and
discover just what that means at Foothills!
